There are probably 20 or so solutions available in the Indian market.

Some Good Some Bad Some Ugly …

I have had experience of knowing the following players in the market. Seen there done that :)

  1. Aspect Hardware based and now shifting to S/W based. TDM version was reliable. No reviewes about Asterisk one.
  2. Net Yantra Was active in Del mostly 24 seats dormant now. Avis used to sell it. Now Avis has used (can use better word) Vicidial oops I mean contaque
  3. Parsec Traditional TDM based .. should consider S/W as they require (still) dialogic
  4. DACX CCS or Drishti Another Software based … seen a 200 seater also. No Radical reviews.
  5. ViciDial in form of DialEdge, Contact / Contaque [Incidentally DialEdge comes from GIPL] I see Mr Gandhi is putting a lot of effort on getting Asterisk to work. Do a google on “Vijay gandhi Asterisk”
  6. Hyva – mann they call it productive dialer … beware !!!
  7. Telesynergy Yet another dialogic based solution. Why … I am sure they are exploring SIP
  8. TekInfo Sells with Corel … again a TDM solution.
  9. Cube Another dialogic based solution.
  10. C-Zentrix – This is a software based solution and recently came into the market. I have not heard much about them if they are Asterisk based / vicidial based or independent. More comments to follow,

  2. What is a productive dialer? all I heard is predictive or preview or power. anyways have seen the solution and is not comparable to predictive solutions in the market. More of a VB application for automated dialling / Reporting.

  5. Saw this … Hyva has 100% AMD because your agent is the one that detects. Mann Do you know that 60% of an avg list would be AMs. so My Agent spends SO MUCH TIME detecting AMs.

  6. Nobody can relable VICIDIAL as their own. If anyone are doing it without explicit permission from Matt Florell will be liable for misrepresenting VICIDIAL.

    We used to encounter some indian guy selling vicidial. I think their company is named packet something. shame on them.

    VICIDIAL is free and opensource.

  8. i have studied all the contaque dailer code it is copy of vicidial , all the database tables they changed the name of vicidial to contaque and the agent page they modied according to that. The marketing people of CONTAQUE just creating hype in the maket about their dailer .Shame on them. with in few days i am going to put their all the source code in net for public to check whether it is modified from vicidial or not , i will going to post the URL’s of the souce code in the same blog with in 10 days . I will see how the CONTAQUE PEOPLE WILL JUSTIFY THEIR CODE. These people are cheating the market and MATT FLORELL (Vicidial Inventor)

  9. As the blog owner I am both surprised and disappointed that this has again turned into commercial discussion with vested interests. Call Centers India forum probably is a good place for such discussion.

    Now I think C-zentrix is well accepted on this forum as well. So why don’t you add it in your list of dialers. It will help others also in choosing a right dialer. A dialer which supports so much of dialing like predictive dialing, progressive dailing, broadcast dialing, auto dialing and preview dialing.

    I have added c-zentrix on the list.
    Reason is not becasue it is well accepted on the forum but yes it is a solution worth covering on the blog. You might want C-Zentrix to share more on technology of their solution so that forum is more aware of the solution.

  13. Of all the dialers mentioned above which is the dialer which is most CRM centric. I am looking for a contact center solution which caters to my needs to run financial and insurance process and should have an integrated CRM with dialer for doing so. I need modules which can be used by my field executive after the calling is done. Can any one suggest me the right calling solution?

    Now thats a pertinent question.

    Most solutions would have a integrated basic CRM which can popup the client details and should be able to customize the same. (Beware of Desktop application based clients where CRM can not be customized.

    A good solution would also offer you integration with some of the good CRMs in the industry. One CRM that I have had a chance to look in indian financial services is Talisma. You can also look at SAGE.

    Points for basic CRM evaluation are:
    - Can Call Center solution integrate with 3rd party CRMs
    - Does the solution offer easily customizable Web based CRM
    - How complete is the CRM apart from basic information about the client.

  15. I have got a proposal from C-Zentrix Dialer with closely coupled Field Executive CRM which is running with some major Insurance and Securities companies. The demo which was done seemed impressive and I have not been able to figure out any other provider giving such coupled Dialer with CRM for Field Executives. Can any one give me a feedback is there any other dialer in the market with similar CRM for field executives and lead management. I will like to test few more before I finalize something.

    This should be looked at as a warning to the people who are trying to defocus the posts.
